The tool has to have its orifice sized for a particular pressure for the test to be meaningful. You can't just feed it "between 7 and 100 psi" like the instructions say, it will give you a worthless reading. It appears they pretty much just copied part of the first set of instructions I've linked to below, then someone who doesn't understand how the tool works tried to add something about the colored gauge.
